Firehouse Campaign for Interstate Batteries Named Finalist for PROMO Magazine PRO Award

 As part of the Interstate Batteries “Outrageously Dependable” campaign, Firehouse set out to educate people about a surprising fact: while most people think about their car battery failing in the winter, the leading cause for a dead car battery is actually heat. By hauling in 18 tons of snow and creating “snow day” events in July at five minor league baseball stadiums across the country, Firehouse created an opportunity for Interstate Batteries to engage more than 22,000 customers in a conversation about the realities of car battery failure.

The campaign is one of five finalists for the “Best Use of Event Marketing” title in PROMO magazine’s 16th annual PRO Awards. Winners will be announced in September.
